FIELD HOCKEY  

Mary Washington senior Jenna Steele and Salisbury senior Amanda Cooper were selected as the CAC Field Hockey Players of the Week for Nov. 2, 2015. Steele was named the CAC Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season after scoring four goals in a 7-1 victory over Frostburg State, helping the Eagles secure the top seed in the CAC Tournament. Cooper was honored as the CAC Defensive Player of the week after recording a defensive save in each of the Sea Gulls' CAC victories last week. 

MEN'S SOCCER

St. Mary's junior Zach Fontenot and Mary Washington sophomore Matt Spencer were named the CAC Men's Soccer Players of the Week for Nov. 2, 2015. Fontenot was named the CAC Offensive Player of the Week after posting two goals and an assist in two games last week, helping the Seahawks secure a playoff spot and a CAC Tournament first-round victory. Spencer earned CAC Defensive Player of the Week honors for the third time this year after helping the Eagles advance to the CAC semifinals with a shutout in net last Saturday.
