Charney, Baker Gain NFHCA All-America Honors

Senior Lisa Charney and junior Caitlin Baker each gained All-America honors from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association on Tuesday. Charney was named to the first team while Baker was named to the second team.

Charney, who was earlier in the week named the National Player of the Year by SynapseSports.com, scored a school-record 25 goals this season, and also led the team with eight defensives saves. Baker set the school record for season assists with 16 en route to 36 points on the season.

The Eagles capped their most successful season in nearly 20 years, finishing 20-2 overall and advancing to the final four for just the second time in program history.
