The University of Mary Washington field hockey team participated in a fundraiser to raise money to end Alzheimer's disease on Saturday. The team raised $1455 in the event.
"The players and I decided to take advantage of the opportunity to walk to end Alzheimer’s on campus," said head coach Lindsey Elliott. "It is a cause that is near to my heart and several of the other players as well. It was a great experience and one that we hope that we can continue to support."
