University of Mary Washington equestrian team members Kate Howlin and Mia Gibson competed on Saturday at the Zone Championship Show in Towson, Md.

Howlin had a great ride and took fifth out of 10 riders in intermediate over fences. Gibson rode in novice flat and took sixth out of 10 competitive riders.
