UMW Equestrian Team Competes at Randolph-Macon Show

The UMW equestrian team competed in its second show of the season on Sunday at Randolph Macon College. 

Kate Howlin started the team off strong in the Open division with a third place finish in the flat and 2nd in the over fences. Caitlin Shirvinski competed in the Intermediate Division placing 3rd in the flat and 5th over fences. Ann Marie Camp was reserve High Point Rider, placing 1st in the flat and 2nd in the jump in the Intermediate Division. Abby Mills was 6th in Limit flat and Eliza Laviolette placed 1st in Limit Flat. Annabella Nonamaker placed 5th in both Limit flat and over fences. Miranda Herd and MC Woodrum rode in Novice flat with MC Woodrum placing 5th in the class. Finally, Erin Kenealy competed in Pre-Novice placing 2nd in the class. The team placed 4th overall. 

The team's next competition will be a double-header on November 5th and 6th at Liberty University and Sweet Briar College.
