UMW Equestrian Competes at VCU Show

The University of Mary Washington equestrian team competed at the Virginia Commonwealth University show on Saundy.

After the conclusion of this weekend, the Eagles now have three riders qualified individually for regionals taking place next semester. Kate Howlin continued her winning streak by bringing home a first place in Intermediate Fences on her birthday. Megan Ponton made her freshman debut and brought home a first place pinning for the Eagles in Pre-Novice Flat.

Ann Marie earned a second place in Limit Flat and a fifth in Limit Fences. Emma Nadjzionek earned a fourth place pinning in Limit Flat. Adrianna Brame earned a third in Intermediate Flat. Kinsey Brotman and Mia Gibson also made their freshman debuts and earned a fourth and second in Novice Flat. Sarah Dietz earned a second in Novice Flat.

The Eagleswill be back in action on November 7 at the University of Richmond.
