UMW Equestrian Team Competes at Sweet Briar Show on Sunday

The University of Mary Washington equestrian team competed at the Sweet Briar Show on Sunday morning, with several top placings.

The Eagles were led by freshman Kate Howlin, who was reserve champion high point rider for the day, finishing second in her intermediate over fences, and first in her intermediate flat class.

Caitlin Shirvinski finished fourth in intermediate over fences, and fifth in intermediate flat, and Adrianna Brame was third in her limit over fences, and first in limit flat.

Ann Camp placed second in limit over fences, and Emma Najdzionek was fifth in her limit flat class.

Sarah Dietz was fourth novice equitation, MC Woodrum was first in pre novice equitation, and Erin Kenealy was first in introductory hunt seat equitation.

Mary Washington's next show will be on Saturday, October 9 at Liberty University.
