UMW Equestrian Team Competes at William & Mary Show

The University of Mary Washington equestrian team competd on Sunday at the College of William & Mary show to kick off the 2021-22 season.

Freshman Kate Howlin finished first in her intermediate hunt seat over fences and was second in her intermediate on the flat class. Sophomore Adrianna Brame was first in her limit hunt seat on the flat class and third over fences. 

Caitlin Shirvinski was fourth in her intermediate hunt seat on the flat, and fifth in fences, and Erin Kenealy was second in her introductory hunt seat on the flat class. Sarah Dietz was second in her novice flat class, and Emma Najdzionek was fourth and Ann Marie Camp sixth in their limit hunt seat on the flat class.

Najdzionek and MC Woodrum were cited for their quality rides as well.

The Eagles will return to action on Sunday at Sweet Briar College at 10:00 a.m.
