UMW Places Second at Mount St. Mary's/UMBC Show

The University of Mary Washington riding team finished second at the Mount St. Mary's/UMBC show in Towson, Md., winning three classes.

Alyssa Zarzecki took first in her novice flat class, Kimberly Counts was first in her novice flat class, and Molly Banfield was first in her open on the flat class. Banfield was the high-point rider for the day.

The Eagles finished second at the show, one point behind Goucher College. UMW will compete at the Christopher Newport University shot on November 3.
