The University of Mary Washington riding team finished in third place at the Christopher Newport University show on Saturday, capturing three first place finishes. Seenior Marina Frano took first in her novice on the flat class, while sophomore Elicia Franchini finished first in her walk trot class. Junior Haley Cook took first in her intermediate over fences class as well. The Eagles will compete again on November 19 at the Towson University show.
