The University of Mary Washington riding team took first place at the Christopher Newport University show on Saturday. The Eagles saw two first place finishes, as Brittany Hill (Frederick, Md., Linganore) finished first in her open on the flat class and Molly Banfield (Wake, Va., Christchurch) took first in her intermediate on the flat class.

The Eagles will be back in action on November 21 at the University of Richmond show.
