UMW Riding Team Places 2nd at Goucher Show
The University of Mary Washington riding team saw seven first place performances en route to a reserve high point team position at the Goucher College show in Towson, Md., on Sunday. Molly Banfield (Wake, Va., Christchurch) won her intermediate over fences and intermediate on the flat classes to be the high point rider for the day.

In addition to Banfield, Brittany Hill (Frederick, Md., Linganore) won her open over fences class, Mary Ryan Richardson (Powhatan, Va., Powhatan) won her intermediate over fences class, Alyssa Zarzecki (Owings Mills, Md., Pikesville) took first in her novice on the flat class, and Michelle King (Lanham, Md., Elenor Roosevelt) and Sarah Hagan (Fincastle, Va., James River) each won their advanced walk-trot-canter classes.

The Eagles will return to action on Saturday, November 6 at the Christopher Newport University show.
