The University of Mary Washington riding team finished second with 38 points at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County show on Saturday at Goucher College. The Gophers took first with 40 points.

Winners for the Eagles included Emilia Sanchez (Fredericksburg, Va., Stafford) in intermediate flat and first in novice fences. Christine Cook (Baltimore, Md., Bryn Mawr) took first in novice on the flat.

The Eagles will be back in action on Sunday in Towson at a show hosted by Goucher College.
