Five Eagle riders qualified for the Zone Championship show on Sunday at Hazelwild Farm at the regional championships. Haley Cook (Duxbury, Mass., Duxbury) finished first in her intermediate on the flat class, and Mary Ryan Richardson (Powhatan, Va., Powhatan) took first in her intermediate over fences class.  Emilia Sanchez (Fredericksburg, Va., Stafford) was first in her novice over fences class, and Isabel Moore (Pembroke, Va., Blacksburg) was first in her walk-trot-canter class. Christine Cook (Baltimore, Md., Bryn Mawr) was second in her novic on the flat class, and also advanced.

The zone championships will be next Sunday at Bridgewater College.
