The University of Mary Washington riding team placed second at the Goucher College show on Saturday, behind only the host school. The Eagles had two first place finishes, with Janet Greider (Naples, Fla., Barron Collier) taking first in advanced walk-trot-cantor, and Emilia Sanchez (Fredericksburg, Va., Stafford) in novice flat.

The Eagles will compete at the University of Richmond Show on October 1.
