Mary Washington baseball's Ty Lowe, Gavin Riley, and Ryan Schwarz were named to various All-Region teams on Tuesday morning, per a release from both D3Baseball and the American Baseball Coaches Association.
Both Lowe and Riley, who were named to the Coast-to-Coast Conference First Team, were named to the All-Region VI Second Team for their performance during the 2024 season by both D3 Baseball and the ABCA. Schwarz was named to the Third Team by the ABCA.
Lowe, a four-time member of the All-C2C team, became the Eagles' all-time RBI record holder this past season with 157 in his career. As a senior, Lowe drove in a team-high and conference-high 48 runs, while recording a .389 batting average to go along with three homers and 16 doubles.
Riley, a left-handed pitcher, tossed a team-high 60.1 innings, while recording a 2.48 ERA -- good for second best in the conference. Riley struck out 54 hitters -- good for third in the C2C Conference -- while walking just 22. The Stafford, Va. native was the lone starting pitcher in the conference to not record a loss after winning seven games in his 11 starts.
Schwarz, meanwhile, was a C2C Honorable Mention after hitting .350 to go along with nine doubles, two triples, two home runs and 26 RBIs, walking more times (15) than he struck out (14).
