Ty Lowe Gains C2C Baseball Player of the Week for the Second Time This Season

The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the fourth week of the 2022 baseball season. Mary Washington sophomore Ty Lowe earned C2C Player of the Week accolades.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Ty Lowe - Mary Washington

Mary Washington sophomore Ty Lowe turned in a banner week as the Eagles won five of six games in Myrtle Beach, safely recording a hit in each of the six games. He batted .375 with a .444 on-base percentage, with a slugging percentage of .708. He opened the week with a single and home run with three RBI, and followed in a win against Hanover with a pair of hits and four RBI. His two-run homer against Eastern in game one provided the Eagles all the offense they would need, and in game two, added a double and a walk. He posted a hit and two RBI in a win over Gwynedd Mercy, and added a single, double, and RBI in an 8-5 win over Manhattanville. For the week, he posted nine hits, five runs scored, two doubles, two home runs, and 12 RBI in six games, with three walks and just two strikeouts.
