Five UMW Baseball Players Named to D3Baseball.com's All-South Region Teams

Five University of Mary Washington baseball players have been named to the D3Baseball.com All-South Region Team. Senior Jono Haught and junior James Keller were named to the first team, freshman David Slupek was named to the second team, and juniors Mitch Moynihan and Ryan Van Assche were named to the third team.

Haught gained first team honors after capturing the CAC Player of the Year award, batting .457 with 10 home runs and 52 RBI. Keller gained first team honors after claiming first team All-CAC honors after batting .379 with two homers and 34 RBI.

Slupek took second team honors after a great freshman season that saw him bat .390 with four home runs and 40 RBI.

Moynihan took third team honros after hitting .369 with three home runs and 43 RBI. Van Assche went 10-1 on the season with a 2.01 ERA, with 77 strikeouts.
