The University of Mary Washington baseball team dropped a 3-0 decision to \#1 ranked Johns Hopkins on Wednesday at Dickinson Stadium. The Eagles end the regular season with a record of 26-12. 

On Wednesday, the Blue Jays scored once in the second on a home run by Jason Sikorski, and added solo runs in the sixth and eighth innings. The Eagles were limited to four hits, with senior shortstop Seamus Bergen (Fredericksburg, Va., Chancellor) pacing UMW with a single and double.

Junior Eric Rehbein (Alexandria, Va., Gonzaga) took the loss for the Eagles, allowing two runs on six hits with no walks and three strikeouts in six innings. Junior Parker Talbert (Virginia Beach, Va., Cape Henry Collegiate) pitched the final three frames, allowing one run on five hits with a walk and three strikeouts.

Johns Hopkins pitcher Andrew Eliopolous limited UMW to four hits in nine innings with two walks and 11 strikeouts.

The Eagles will return to action on May 19 at the NCAA Regional Tournament at a location and against an opponent to be announced.
