07 W. Basketball Team
The 2006-07 women's basketball team rode the strength of a 31-3 record to the NCAA Division III Final Four in Springfield, Mass. Along the way, the Eagles claimed the CAC Championship, cruised through the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament, and won memorable games on back-to-back days in the sweet 16 and elite eight, first ending the University of Scranton's 63-game home court winning streak and then downing number-one ranked Bowdoin College to advance to the national semifinals. Head coach Deena Applebury was named the WBCA National Coach of the Year, while senior Debbie Bruen and junior Liz Hickey gained All-America honors.
