Due to the current pandemic and the varying sizes of our indoor venues, UMW Athletics will be requiring proof of vaccination or a recent negative COVID-19 test (within 24hrs) before admittance to any of the home contests starting Saturday, October 22^nd, 2021. This policy puts an emphasis on mitigating risk for our campus and local community while providing an opportunity for as many spectators as possible to watch the Eagles compete.  Here are the specifics:

1. All indoor athletic venues will open 45 minutes prior to the start of the contest.
2. Spectators will be asked to present proof of full vaccination or documentation of either a negative PCR COVID test (administered within 72 hours of the performance) or a negative antigen test (within 24 hours of the performance).
3. 1. Please understand that UMW will not accept the results of any self-administered home COVID test, such as the Abbott Laboratories BinaxNOW test.
   2. Documentation of a negative test result also applies to children under the age of 12.

3. This policy applies to current UMW Students as well.
   
   All guests must wear face coverings, regardless of vaccination status, at all times while indoors.
