#4 on UMW's Top 10 for 2014-15: Men's and Women's Swimming Continues CAC Dominance

Checking in at number four on the UMW Athletics Top Ten for 2014-15 is the continued dominance of the CAC Championships for the Eagles men's and women's swim teams.

The women's swim team kept its Capital Athletic Conference Championship undefeated streak alive for the 25th straight year in gaining the 2015 title.

The Eagles won 16 of 18 events and totaled 944 points to earn the team crown, becoming the only team across all CAC sports to have won the team championship in each of the 25 years of the CAC's existence.

Abby Brethauer was named the league's Coach of the Year, while Megan Murphy was named Rookie of the Year, and Hallock won CAC Swimmer of the Year Honors.

The men's swimming team captured its 15th straight Capital Athletic Conference championship. Senior Alex Anderson was named the CAC Men's Swimmer of the Year, and head coach Abby Brethauer was named CAC Coach of the Year.

Mary Washington won 14 events and totaled 915 points on its way to its 15th straight CAC Men's Swimming Championship.
