Rain Forces Schedule Adjustments to UMW Athletics for Saturday; All Home Contests to be Played as Scheduled - Volleyball Now at Home at Noon

UPDATE (10/02 - 9:23 am) - All UMW home events will be played as scheduled. Women's soccer will host Christopher Newport at 1 p.m. on the turf field, followed by men's soccer at 3:30 p.m. against Marymount University. The postgame concert has been canceled.

The volleyball matches at Virginia Wesleyan have been canceled; however, UMW will now host Washington & Lee University at noon in the Anderson Center.

The men's tennis ITA Tournament will be main draw only, but will start at 8 a.m. on Saturday indoors.

The away field hockey contest at York College is still scheduled to be played at 1 p.m. The riding shows for the weekend have been canceled.

Due to the forecast of heavy rains in the wake of Hurricane Joaquin, the women's tennis tournament at Mount St. Mary's College as well as the volleyball matches on Saturday in Virginia Beach have been postponed.
