The number 6 moment on UMW's Top 10 from 2013-14 is the continued dominance by the men's and women's swimming teams at the Capital Athletic Conference Championships. The men won the CAC crown for the 20th time in the 24-year history of the league, including their 14th straight title, while the women won their 24th straight title.

The men's team won 15 of the 18 races swam at the meet, scoring 937 points, more than 300 more than their nearest rival. Junior Alex Anderson repeated as CAC Swimmer of the Year, Henry Bassett was named CAC Rookie of the Year, and head coach Abby Brethauer was named the league's coach of the year.

The women's team won every one of the 18 races at the Championship, scoring 1032 points and beating their nearest competitor by 496 points. Amber Kerico and Abby Cox were named Co-CAC Swimmers of the Year, and freshman Anna Corley was named the CAC Rookie of the Year.
