#15 UMW Men's Tennis Beats NC Wesleyan, 6-3, to Improve to 5-1

The 15th ranked University of Mary Washington men's tennis team capped a perfect weekend by downing North Carolina Wesleyan College, 6-3, on Sunday at the UMW Indoor Tennis Center. The Eagles improve to 5-1 on the season.

After sweeping the three doubles matches, 8-6, 8-6, and 8-5, UMW picked up a win from Brandon Griffin at six singles, and then a three-set win from Evan Charles at four to clinch the match. David Lunding-Johansson also picked up a tight 7-6, 7-5 win at three.

The Eagles will be back in action on Sunday, March 1, when they visit 11th ranked Pomona Pitzer Colleges in California at 4:00 p.m.
