JUNIOR (2013-14)
Gained first team All-CAC accolades in singles and doubles... Named all-state in singles and doubles... Finished 17-12 in singles, and 19-11 at one doubles... Scored singles wins over N.C. Wesleyan, Washington & Lee, and Bates... Won 12 straight doubles matches, tying the school record... Posted wins over nationally-ranked Redlands, Washington & Lee, Bates, and Carnegie-Mellon.

SOPHOMORE (2012-13)
All-CAC selection in singles and doubles... 13-13 in singles action, including a 9-8 mark in the number one spot... Went 13-10 in doubles action... Picked up wins over nationally-ranked Case Western and Washington & Lee in singles, and over Pomona-Pitzer, Redlands, Carnegie-Mellon, Kenyon, and Washington & Lee. 

FRESHMAN (2011-12)
Gained All-America honors in doubles, advancing to the NCAA national semifinals... Tied for second with 20 singles wins, and won 19 doubles matches with Donato Rizzolo... First team All-CAC in singles and doubles, as well as CAC and VaSID state Rookie of the Year. Defeated opponents from nationally ranked Whitman, Cal Lutheran, Case Western, and Swarthmore. 

PERSONAL
Evan James Charles is the son of Jim and Bonnie Charles. Played tennis at Deep Run High School... Two-time team state champion... Two-time state doubles champion... Reached a high of 179 on tennisrecruiting.net... Mathematics major.
