UMW Cross Country Teams Compete at Rowan Inter-Regional Battle

The University of Mary Washington men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Rowan University Inter Regional Battle on Saturday in Glassboro, N.J., with the men placing 24th among 36 schools, and the women finishing 25th among 35 teams.

The women saw Amanda Morrisey finish 129th at 24:57, and Grace Pippin took 138th at 25:07. Teresa Guzman finished 170th at 25:51, Jessica Oberlies was 179th at 26:02, and Julia Snow was 247th at 28:13.

On the men's side, Patrick Murphy finished 75th at 26:19, followed by Nick Onorato took 103rd at 26:51. Luke Blair finished 148th at 27:36, Jacob Lohr took 166th at 27:53, and Dylan Wright finished 208th at 28:45.

Both teams will return to action in two weeks at the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference championships in Salisbury, Md.
