#22 UMW Volleyball Sweeps Stevenson, Scranton on Saturday to Move to 6-0

The 22nd ranked University of Mary Washington volleyball team captured a pair of matches at Stevenson University on Saturday to move to 6-0 on the season. The Eagles defeaed the hosts, 25-21, 25-8, 25-21, before topping Scranton, 25-15, 26-24, 25-21.

The Eagles opened the day with a three-set win over Stevenson. Junior Chloe Crosen led the way with 12 kills against two errors in 17 attempts, and senior Jordan Lyons added 10 kills and 14 digs. Lauren Foley provided 16 assists, while Brooke Cunningham added nine, and Bryanna Miller posted six kills and nine digs.

In the victory over Scranton, the Eagles rallied to come from behind in the second game to complete the day's sweeps. Lyons led the way with 14 kills, and Crosen and Miller each had seven kills. Foley scored 20 assists and Cunningham added 15, and Hannah Livermon posted 12 digs, while Miller added 11 and Foley 10. Emma Hadley scored four total blocks.

Mary Washington will return to action on Tuesday when the Eagles visit Rowan University at 7:00 p.m.
