The 22nd ranked University of Mary Washington volleyball team defeated Eastern Mennonite University, 3-0, on Tuesday evening at Ron Rosner Arena. Game scores were 25-16, 25-16, 25-16; the Eagles improve to 3-0 on the season.

In the balanced attack that saw 20 UMW players see playing time, junior Chloe Crosen led the way with 11 kills against no errors in 18 attempts. Senior Jordan Lyons posted eight kills against one error in 16 attempts, and senior Caitlyn Burch added seven kills without an error in 11 attempts. Junior Lauren Foley scored 18 assists, while freshman Brooke Cunningham added nine, and Brenna Campbell six.

Foley led the way with 11 digs, with Bryanna Miller adding eight to go with five kills. Burch scored three solo blocks.

The Eagles will return to action on Friday when they face DeSales University at Stevenson University in Owings Mills, Md., at 8 p.m.
