Senior hitter Krista Rodgers and junior Jordan Lyons have been named to the Virginis State Sports Information Directors all-state college division team, announced on Tuesday.

A first team selection, Rodgers hit .375 this season, with 297 kills against just 45 errors in 672 attempts. She posted 108 total blocks, and 54 digs this season.

Lyons, a second team selection, led the Eagles with 401 kills and 518 digs, and averaged 3.23 kills per game. In addition, she posted 47 service aces and 26 total blocks.

VaSID names 44 all-state teams in 23 sports each year, as well as an Academic All-State squad and an all-sports champion in both the University and College Divisions. Membership in VaSID is open to all media relations professionals working at a university or conference in the state of Virginia.
