Junior all-region hitter Jordan Lyons has been named the Virginia Lottery UMW Female Athlete of the month for October.

Lyons led UMW to a 12-4 record in October, en route to Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference championship and NCAA Tournament success. She surpassed two major milestones, gaining 401 kills and 518 digs on the season.

She led UMW with 401 kills, 3.23 kills per game, and 518 digs (4.18 per game).
