The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the seventh week of the 2022 women's volleyball season. Mary Washington junior Jordan Lyons claimed C2C Defensive Player of the Week honors.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Jordan Lyons - Mary Washington

Mary Washington's Jordan Lyons led the Eagles to a perfect 3-0 week, leading the defense with 56 digs in three matches (5.09 per set), and adding six total blocks as well. Lyons also dominated offensively, scoring 45 kills in the three wins, including 18 in a 3-1 win over Salisbury, 16 in a 3-1 win against Ithaca, and 11 in a sweep over Southern Virginia. Lyons registered three double-doubles in kills and digs again this week, raising her season total to 15 double-doubles.
