The 24th ranked University of Mary Washington women's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to seventh ranked Johns Hopkins University on Saturday at the Hegmann Family Complex. The Eagles slip to 7-8 on the season.
The Eagles scored a big point in doubles, as Amanda Hagino and Hana Kimmey gained an 8-7 win at one. UMW also gained a point at four singles, as Emily Beckner scored a 6-3, 3-6, 10-4 win.
UMW will be back in action on Wednesday when they visit Virginia Wesleyan University.
