UMW Men's and Women's Track and Field Teams Each Finish 4th at C2C Championships

The University of Mary Washington men's and women's track and field teams each finished in fourth place at the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships on Saturday in Salisbury, Md.

For the women, Sophia Redmond finished first in the 100 meters at 12.34 seconds, and first in the 200 meters at 25.39. Faith Jones finished fifth in the shot put at 30 feet 0.75 inches, and fifth in the hammer throw at 96 feet, six inches.

On the men's side, Ethan Young was second in the 100 hurdles at 15.57, and Reese Creadon was fourth at 16.48. Justin Ford was second in the 100 meters at 10.99 and Jacinto Jones II was third at 11.02. Aidan Girard was fifth in the 800 meters at 1:59.27, and Ethan Young came back to finish first in the 400 meter hurdles at 56.71. Jacinto Jones II finished third in the 200 meters at 21.80. Jacob Lohr was third in the 10K at 32:31.79.
