The University of Mary Washington indoor track and field teams competed at the Patriot Games at George Mason University on Saturday in Fairfax, Va.

In the women's 60 meter hurdles, Brooke Thompson placed fourth with a time of 9.71 seconds, and Michelle Sutherland was fifth at 9.85. Allan Meyer was 14th in the 200 meter dash at 23.58. Matt Shaughnessy was ninth in the 1000 meter run at 2:39.00.The men's 4x400 relay finished eighth at 3:35.46. Matt Cronin was 11th in the weight throw at 43 feet, 11.25 inches.

The track teams will return to action on February 2 at Haverford College at 10:00 a.m.
