UMW Men's Tennis Falls at Pomona-Pitzer on Wednesday Night

The University of Mary Washington men's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision at Pomona-Pitzer College on Wednesday evening in Pomona, California. The Eagles drop to 3-1 on the season.

The Eagles gained their point in doubles, as Moses Hutchison and Priyan Desilva were victorious at three, 8-6, over Hayden Snyder and Nils Skattum. Rishi Charan Shankar and Nick Spera fell at two to Jansen Comadena and Owen Kelley, 8-6, and Peter Leese and Cole Tecce fell at two to Mukuno Madabhushi/Charlie Stark, 8-7.

In singles, Hutchison fell at one to Snyder, 6-4, 6-2, Charan Shankar fell at two to Madabhushi, 6-4, 6-4, and Spera lost to Stark at three, 6-3, 6-1. Tecce dropped a 6-1, 6-2 decision to Kush atel at four, Leese fell to Comadena, 6-3, 3-6, 10-8, at five, and Desilva fell at six, 6-2, 6-3, to Matthew Feng.

The Eagles will take on Redlands today.
