The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the start of the 2022 spring tennis season. Mary Washington junior Andrew Watson claimed C2C Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week honors.

Mary Washington junior Andrew Watson led the Eagles to wins over Stevens and Kenyon - two traditionally ranked opponents - to open the spring dual match season for the Eagles this weekend. On Friday, he defeated Aashi Kulakarni, 7-5, 6-2, at three singles, and then teamed with fellow doubles All-American Moses Hutchison for an 8-1 at one doubles. On Sunday, Watson and Hutchison gained an 8-2 win at one doubles, and Watson, with the match tied at 4-4 and down 4-3 in the third set, scored three straight points to gain a 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 win to give the Eagles the 5-4 victory.
