Freddy Rogers Named C2C Defensive Player of the Week For Second Time

For the second time in as many weeks, No. 4 UMW's keeper Freddy Rogers was named Defensive Player of the Week by the Coast-to-Coast Conference.

After conceding an early goal in UMW's first game this weekend on Saturday that tied the game, Rogers held strong for the next 70 minutes in goal for the Eagles. Hobart launched nine shots at Rogers, who would make two saves before UMW eventually took the lead late in the game to win. On Sunday, Rogers held Lycoming scoreless, recording two saves before he was subbed out in the 65th minute.
