The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the eighth week of the 2021 men's soccer season. Mary Washington senior goalkeeper Ken Kurtz claimed C2C Defensive Player of the Week honors.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Ken Kurtz - Mary Washington

Mary Washington senior goalkeeper Ken Kurtz picked up his seventh win of the season with a 2-1 victory over Christopher Newport on Saturday. The senior, UMW's all-time leader in career and season shutouts, made three saves in the victory, including snuffing out a one-on-one breakaway in the second half to keep the Eagles on top.
