UMW Men's Soccer Ranks Second in C2C Preseason Coaches' Poll

The University of Mary Washington was picked second in the 2021 Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Men's Soccer Preseason Poll. The Eagles earned two first-place votes and 28 points to finish second in the poll.

Mary Washington enters the 2021 season ranked 21st in the country by the United Soccer Coaches, and excitement is in the air for another in a line of successful seasons. The Eagles, winners of the past three conference championships, will look to senior standouts Kenny Kurtz in goal and Jeremy Hokenson at forward, with not one but two quality recruiting classes to join the mix as the Eagles look for their fourth straight NCAA Tournament appearance.

The 2021 season kicks off the first week of September with the C2C Men's Soccer Championship, a 6-team tournament, being hosted by Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Va. on November 4, 5 & 6.
