FREDERICKSBURG, VA - The University of Mary Washington men's soccer team played to a scoreless tie with 18th ranked York College on Saturday at Homecoming to remain in first place in the Capital Athletic Conference standings. The Eagles move to 10-4-1 overall and 5-0-1 in CAC play, while York moves to 11-1-3 and 4-0-2.

Both teams had several quality chances but neither team could find the nets. The Spartans outshot the Eagles, 15-11, with UMW holding a 9-8 edge on corner kicks. Emmett Rutkowski made seven saves for the Eagles, while York's Ryan Hock made two stops.

The Eagles will visit Marymount University in another key CAC contest on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.
