University of Mary Washington junior outfielder Bobby Ayscue and junior utility player Ty Lowe have been named to the ABCA/Rawlings All-Region VI team, announced on Tuesday.
Ayscue was named as a second team selection after hitting .366 in 44 games, with 18 doubles, five triples, and three home runs. He scored 48 runs and drove in 35, and stole 14 bases.
Lowe gained third team honors at utlity position, as he batted .364 in 43 games, with seven doubles and five home runs, with 47 RBI and 33 runs scored. On the mound, he pitched to a 3-1 record with two saves, and a 3.25 ERA in 27.2 innings with 18 strikeouts.
