The University of Mary Washington men's and women's cross country teams are ranked regionally in the South/Southeast Region in the United States Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association preseason rankings.
The men are ranked seventh, while the women are ranked ninth. Rhodes is the top choice on the men's side, while Emory is on top of the women's ranking.
Both teams will open the season on Friday by hosting the UMW Opener in Stafford at Clift Farm.
