University of Mary Washington sophomore Jeff Gibson finished in 114th place at the NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Championship on Saturday in Elsah, Illinois. Gibson crossed the line at 25:44.49, just ahead of a pack of five runners who finished within a second of his time.

North Central (IL) won the team championship with 57 points.
