The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the sixth week of the 2022 softball season. Mary Washington sophomore Caitlyn Burch claimed C2C Pitcher of the Week honors.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Caitlyn Burch - Mary Washington

Mary Washington sophomore Caitlyn Burch turned in another stellar week for the Eagles, going 3-0 with a save and throwing her first collegiate no hitter on Saturday. She started the week allowing three hits in seven innings in a 5-0 shutout win over Southern Virginia, striking out seven and walking one. She then gained the win with a complete game six hitter with 11 Ks and one earned run allowed in a 6-3 win over Randolph. She pitched 1.1 innings of relief in game two against randolph, allowing one hit and three strikeouts, and closed the week with a no hitter in game one against Gettysburg, with two walks and 11 strikeouts. Then, in game two, she pitched 2.2 innings of one-hit relief with five strikeouts to gain a save in an 8-5 win over the Bullets.
