UMW Men's Tennis Tops D2 University of Charleston, 4-3, on Sunday in Orlando

The University of Mary Washington men's tennis team defeated Division II opponent University of Charleston, 4-3, on Sunday in Orlando, Fla. The Eagles improve to 4-0 on the season.

In doubles, UMW gained the point by winning at one, with Moses Hutchison and Michael Fleming winning, 8-6; two, as Joseph Brown and Priyan DeSilva won, 8-5, and at three, as Cole Tecce and Andrew Watson won, 8-3.

In singles, Tecce won at five, 6-0, 6-3, and DeSilva wn at six, 6-4, 6-3. Brown won at three, 6-4, 6-4, to clinch the match.

UMW will be back in action on Monday against John Carroll University at 3 p.m.
