University of Mary Washington juniors Derek Hagino and Patrick Hughes captured the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Southeast Regional doubles title on Monday afternoon. The duo, which started the event unseeded, defeated Daniel Levine and Chaz Downing, 6-4, 6-3, in the final.
Earlier in the day, Hagino and Hughes topped teammates Matt Miles and Michael Fleming, 8-5, in the semifinal round.
The duo will advance to the ITA Oracle Cup in Rome, Ga. on October 11.
