UMW Men's Swimming Falls to W&L in Season Opener

The University of Mary Washington men's swimming team opened the 2022-23 season with a 168-94 loss to Washington & Lee University on Saturday at Goolrick Natatorium.

The Eagles were led by junior Conrad Tan, who finished first in the 200 yard breastsroke, at 2:14.43, and senior Ellis Winfree, who took top honors in the 50 yard freestyle at 22.26. Darl Everett took second in the 50 free race, touching the wall at 22.38.

UMW will be back in action on Friday when the Eagles host the University of Lynchburg at 6:00 p.m.
