UMW Men's Swimming Tops Randolph-Macon on Friday Night

The University of Mary Washington men's swimming team made its home debut on Friday night with a 173-89 victory over Randolph-Macon College at Goolrick Natatorium.

The Eagles opened with a win from the 200 medley relay of Carsen Mumford, Jeff Leckrone, Kolin Hoffman, and Garrett Ross, at 1:39.76. Austin Farrar won the 200 yard freestyle at 1:48.44, and Clark Hou claimed the 100 yard breaststroke at 1:00.24. Ross won the 50 freestyle at 21.97, Lecrone won the 100 free at 48.47, Hou won the 200 breaststroke at 2:15.33, Farrar won the 500 freestyle at 4:59.04, Leckrone won the 200 IM at 2:00.69. The 200 free relay of Brian Harnish, Jeremy Robertson, Mark Dye, and Ross won at 1:29.14.

UMW will be back in action next Friday when they visit Frostburg State University.
