Sophomore forward Carter Berg has been named as the Virginia Lottery University of Mary Washington Male Athlete of the Month for November.

Berg led the Eagle men's soccer team to the NCAA Tournament Final Four, netting game-winning goals in UMW's postseason run in the NCAA Tournament against Ohio Wesleyan University and Bowdoin College. He netted two goals in the span of 10 seconds in the win over Bowdoin in the national quarterfinal win at Amherst, Mass.

Berg gained All-Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference honors, and scored 10 goals (including a team-high five game winners) and five assists this season.
